School Consultation

Children with ADHD and Executive Function Challenges often find school to be very difficult. They require specific types of support and accommodations in order to make progress in school and accurately demonstrate their knowledge.

Parents often feel unprepared and inadequate when it comes to identifying and advocating for the proper provisions for their children. It’s important to understand how to be an assertive advocate for your child while maintaining a healthy relationship with your school.

Together, we can review the type of support that your child needs. I will help you formulate the most appropriate accommodations and modifications based on your child’s individual profile for use in school, whether it is an IEP, 504 plan, or an informal agreement with your child’s teacher. Additionally, I can meet with your school team and ensure that they understand how ADHD affects your child and how they can be most supportive.

Coaching is not covered by health insurance. If you have an HSA (Health Savings Account) or FSA (Flexible Spending Account), you may be able to use that for coaching sessions. Please check with your account provider.
